North Star Camp is a premier residential camp for boys located in Hayward, Wisconsin, on 120 acres of land featuring 2.5 miles of Northwoods shoreline. Hoofbeat offers a unique horseback riding camp experience for girls and boys aged 8-13. The camp provides an opportunity for children to learn the basics of horseback riding while building positive relationships with other campers. Day campers will learn the fundamentals of horsemanship, receive instruction in riding, and have the chance to explore the outdoors. Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts will also benefit from the Hoofbeat experience. Our retreats and conferences foster teamwork and communication while taking part in a variety of outdoor activities. Our goal is to provide every camper with a positive, enriching, and safe experience.

The Wisconsin Badger Camp experience goes beyond recreation. Through the support of qualified staff, campers are able to develop relationships and friendships in a fun and safe environment. Dan and Marlene La Fleur founded La Fleur Stables in 1965. They are a couple of horse lovers from Stoughton, WI, who have devoted their lives to American Saddlebreds. They purchased their first horse farm on Highway 138 between Stoughton and Oregon. Marlene had horses growing up and, as a young woman, had shown Quarter Horses exclusively with her father, Arnold Anderson. It was then that Marlene’s love for Saddlebreds began. Dan is a stock and commodities broker and Marlene is a dedicated horse lover. They have three children, and daughter Neva has taken on the family business, training horses and giving riding lessons. Parents Magazine is proud to present Camp Fairwood, a 230 acre haven of pristine Wisconsin wilderness. For over fifty years, this Christian camp has been providing a refuge from the storms of life. God has blessed this camp with a mission of providing campers with an excellent Christian camping experience, in which they can come to know Jesus as Savior and grow closer to Him. Camp Fairwood offers a variety of activities that are designed to be both Christ-centered and action-packed. Campers can enjoy meaningful moments in a peaceful and pleasant setting. Throughout the year, Camp Fairwood hosts seven weeks of summer camp for youth and families and about 38 retreats. The camp is staffed by two full-time employees, two part-time employees, and about 40-45 seasonal staff during the summer. Parents can rest assured that their children will be cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.

Sky Lodge Christian Camp is a summer camp run by the North Central Conference of the Free Methodist Church that was created to provide campers with physical recreation, emotional renewal, and spiritual restoration. Towering Pines Camp is located in Northern Wisconsin, near Eagle River. It’s a place of 450-forested acres, spanning the shores of two spring fed lakes, Nokomis and Clear, in the heart of the American Legion State Forest. This overnight camp for boys ages 7 to 16 offers complete recreation, camping, and leadership opportunities, all accredited by the American Camping Association (ACA).
