About Camp Birch Trails

Welcome to Birch Trail Camp for Girls, where summer memories last a lifetime! Located in the beautiful northwest corner of Wisconsin, this traditional camp for girls provides a variety of land and water sports, climbing, wilderness trips, crafts, drama, and horseback riding. Our wilderness-tripping program is one of the premier programs in the country and is designed to let every girl shine. No prior experience is necessary, just the enthusiasm to get out there and have fun! With activities to suit everyone’s interests, Birch Trail is the perfect place to make lasting friendships and memories. Come join us for the summer and let the adventure begin!

Experience Adventure

Wilderness trips are fun, new, exciting and challenging adventures for most campers; these special trips give campers the opportunity to discover a new world and to become comfortable in it.

Social and Emotional Learning

SEL development is our most important focus because study after study reveals that these skills will help improve children’s lives, increase their quality of life and reduce stress, and even make them happier, more successful adults. SEL is “the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.” *from the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL)
