Welcome to the wacky world of Wisconsin, a state as fun to explore as it is to pronounce! This magical land is a massive playground filled with juicy dairy delights, stunning landscapes, and yes, you guessed it - horses! Kids in Wisconsin don't just ride bikes or rollerblades, they gallop on glorious horses just as the sun is painting the sky with its golden brush. 

Meet our friend, Wiggly Wally the wisecracking weasel. Wally wears wacky woolen waistcoats, and has a peculiar passion for watching the horseback riders. He's no ordinary weasel, you see. He's a funny fellow who loves to make you laugh with his side-splitting, knee-slapping horse jokes. 

"Did you hear about the horse who moved to Wisconsin?" he'd ask, chuckling away, "He wanted to become a CHEESE-horse! Get it, because Wisconsin is famous for its cheese!" 

The kids in Wisconsin are just as adventurous and fun-loving as Wiggly Wally. They think nothing of saddling up their four-legged friends and heading off for a day of equine excitement. You can see them navigating through the lush green fields, their laughter echoing across the hills. Sometimes, they even engage in playful races, their faces flushed with the thrill of the ride. 

After a day of heart-pumping adventure, they gather around to share tales of their horse-riding escapades, their eyes twinkling brighter than the stars above. Their laughter and cheers catch the wind and travel across the state, spreading the infectious joy of the Wisconsin horse riders.

In Wisconsin, horseback riding isn't just an activity, it's a way of life. It's about the camaraderie, the open landscapes, the thrill of the ride, and of course, the chuckles shared with Wiggly Wally. So, grab your riding boots, Wisconsin kids, it's time for another day of horsing around!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Swift Nature Camp an overnight camp for boys and girls ages 6-15 located in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. 

 I’m Lonnie, the Camp Director, and I’m thrilled to share what makes SNC such a special place for kids and families alike. For nearly 30 years, our mission has been to create an environment where children can grow, discover, and make lifelong memories. Here at camp, we focus on friendship, personal development, and a deep connection to nature—all in a fun, supportive, and adventurous setting. All this without cell phones
One of the things that sets Swift Nature Camp apart is our focus on fostering independence and confidence. Whether it’s trying a new activity like canoeing, taking on a leadership role in a group project, or simply navigating life away from home, camp provides endless opportunities for personal growth. We celebrate each camper’s unique personality and encourage them to step outside their comfort zone in a safe and nurturing way. Seeing kids gain new skills and pride in their accomplishments is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

For our youngest campers, Discovery Camp is an especially magical experience. Designed only for first-time campers ages 6-12, this shorter program gives kids a chance to experience the joys of camp life in a way that’s just right for them. It’s amazing to watch these kids try new things—from learning about the natural world to singing campfire songs—and leave camp with big smiles and even bigger stories to tell. Discovery Camp is often the beginning of a long and cherished relationship with SNC, and we’re so proud to see those first-time campers grow into confident and capable young people.

Another cornerstone of Swift Nature Camp is our connection to the environment. We believe that nature isn’t just a backdrop for camp; it’s a teacher, a playground, and a source of endless wonder. Through hands-on activities like pond studies, wildlife observation, and outdoor adventures, campers develop an appreciation for the natural world that stays with them long after camp ends. The Camp Zoo is always a favorite, campers can even adopt a pet while at camp.Our goal is to inspire kids to become curious, mindful stewards of the environment.

At Swift Nature Camp, there’s never a dull day! With hundreds of land and water activities, campers are always engaged and excited. On land, some favorites include the Lego Cabin, Arts & Crafts, Archery, and exploring the Nature Center. On the water, campers learn Canoeing, Fishing, and Swimming, but the absolute favorites are Tubing behind the boat and jumping off the Water Trampoline. Never is there a dull day because every day is packed with fun, adventure, and opportunities to try something new.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the amazing friendships that form here. SNC is a place where kids truly feel like they belong. Campers and counselors alike bring warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm to everything we do, creating a strong sense of community. Whether it’s cheering each other on during a game, collaborating on a creative project, or sharing laughs around the campfire, the bonds formed at Swift Nature Camp are something truly special.

At Camp Woodland, girls have the opportunity to develop problem-solving skills, take on new challenges and discover their strengths in a supportive environment. Our campers learn real-life skills that will help them in their future endeavors. They gain confidence as they explore their interests, build relationships and develop their unique talents. 

We strive to create an environment where girls feel safe to express themselves, take risks and be authentically who they are. Girls at Camp Woodland are encouraged to step outside of their comfort zone and explore their potential. Our counselors provide guidance and support to help each camper reach her highest potential. 

Camp Woodland is an incredible summer experience that helps girls become confident, independent thinkers with the skills and strength needed to reach their goals. We make sure to create a space that allows each girl to express her uniqueness and develop her own personal leadership style.

At YMCA Camp Minikani, our mission is to inspire every camper to recognize their unique potential. We strive to provide a safe and nurturing camp environment that celebrates the success of individual growth and encourages children to make connections with the world around them. Whether it’s a new skill or a renewed sense of self-confidence, we prioritize helping your child discover something new about themselves.

At Camp Minikani, we believe that every child has the power to create the life they want. We foster an atmosphere of appreciation and acceptance, one in which campers can feel secure enough to take risks and explore, without the fear of judgement. Our counselors and staff create a supportive and caring community, where each individual’s successes become the camp’s successes, and each camper is seen and celebrated for their own unique gifts.

At Anokijig, the mission is to provide an outdoor setting and community that is based on respectful values, dedicated to the development of positive lifestyles, and focused on learning new skills and experiencing personal growth. In addition, Anokijig makes sure that children and families also have an outrageous amount of fun and develop an appreciation for our natural environment. 

The camp staff is passionate about helping children and families get the most out of their time at Anokijig. They strive to create an experience that is full of adventure and exploration, while also teaching them life skills and imparting important values. This is done through a variety of activities and experiences, all designed to foster connection, self-discovery, and growth.

North Star Camp is a premier residential camp for boys located in Hayward, Wisconsin, on 120 acres of land featuring 2.5 miles of Northwoods shoreline. Accredited by the American Camp Association, North Star provides a structured but not regimented environment for campers ages 8 to 15. The camp’s diverse program offers activities and experiences in athletics, water sports, creative arts, and adventure programming, as well as age-appropriate wilderness trips.

At North Star, campers learn to make decisions, express themselves, work in teams, and live with others in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. With the guidance of camp staff, campers build self-confidence, respect individual differences, and develop an appreciation for their surroundings. North Star’s Achievement Based Programming encourages healthy competition and helps campers stretch their imagination.

Kids have the opportunity to make lasting friendships, play a variety of sports, and take part in a wide range of activities. At Timber-lee, youth are surrounded by a nurturing atmosphere where they can grow spiritually and emotionally.

Parents can be sure that Camp Timber-lee is a place where their children will be safe and engaged. From the moment their kids arrive until the time they leave, they will be surrounded by staff and volunteers who care deeply about their well-being. Through a combination of exciting activities, spiritual guidance, and meaningful relationships, Timber-lee provides a safe and fun experience for youth.

Hoofbeat offers a unique horseback riding camp experience for girls and boys aged 8-13. The camp provides an opportunity for children to learn the basics of horseback riding while building positive relationships with other campers. Day campers will learn the fundamentals of horsemanship, receive instruction in riding, and have the chance to explore the outdoors.

Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts will also benefit from the Hoofbeat experience. Our retreats and conferences foster teamwork and communication while taking part in a variety of outdoor activities. Our goal is to provide every camper with a positive, enriching, and safe experience.

At Sugar Creek Bible Camp, our mission is to provide an environment that offers a unique opportunity to connect with God through the outdoors. Our programs provide an opportunity for campers to have meaningful experiences while participating in activities such as swimming, canoeing, archery, climbing, fishing, and much more. 

Campers are also encouraged to explore their spiritual side through Bible studies, campfire talks, and more. Our staff are passionate about fostering an environment of joy, acceptance, and safety so that campers can have the best possible experience while at camp. 

Open year-round, Sugar Creek hosts overnight events every weekend for individuals and groups in three comfortable lodges, 16 cabins, and camping areas (RVs and tents). Food service is also provided by request. We welcome children, families, and groups of all beliefs and backgrounds for custom events and meaningful retreats.

Camp Nicolet in Eagle River, Wisconsin, is the perfect spot for your daughter to spend her summer! At Camp Nicolet, your daughter will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of fun activities such as horseback riding, water sports, and arts and crafts. Plus, Camp Nicolet offers a Leadership Program for campers ages 15 through 17. Through this program, your daughter will have the chance to learn important communication, collaboration, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

At Camp Nicolet, campers can participate in activities such as horseback riding, water sports, and arts and crafts. Camp Nicolet for Girls

At our camps, girls have the opportunity to explore and express themselves in a safe and supported all-girl environment. Our expert staff and Girl Scout sisters have been providing these opportunities for more than 100 years, giving campers the confidence to try new things. As a result, our campers develop courage, confidence, and character – qualities that will help them to make the world a better place. 

Through the dedication of more than 6,500 volunteers, we are able to serve nearly 18,000 girls in southern Minnesota, western Wisconsin, and one county in Iowa. 

Our camps provide girls with an enriching and empowering experience. With the help of our experienced staff and Girl Scout sisters, campers are encouraged to take risks, be creative, and develop their character. By providing a safe and supportive environment, girls can find the courage to make the world a better place.

Camp Northwoods

Towering Pines Camp is located in Northern Wisconsin, near Eagle River. It’s a place of 450-forested acres, spanning the shores of two spring fed lakes, Nokomis and Clear, in the heart of the American Legion State Forest. This overnight camp for boys ages 7 to 16 offers complete recreation, camping, and leadership opportunities, all accredited by the American Camping Association (ACA). With the Jordan family at the helm, each summer will be an adventure of individual discovery and ever expanding independence for your son. Join the extended family of over 100 boys and watch as they grow through the challenges and successes of camp life.

Hello, craft aficionados, and welcome to Crafts Zone! This is your portal into a realm where imagination and education intertwine. Our bespoke crafting workshops are designed to engage both your creative flair and your thirst for knowledge. To keep you abreast with the latest trends and techniques in crafting, we've devoted a fifth of our sessions entirely to learning.

Prepare yourself for an exciting journey of creating and connecting as these constitute the major portion of our workshops, a staggering 70% to be precise! You'll be offered ample opportunities to convert your innovative concepts into tangible creations and also get to know other art enthusiasts. Embrace the joy of crafting something magnificent along with forging friendships with like-minded individuals. 

And we certainly can't overlook the aspect of relaxation! Here at Crafts Zone, we set aside 10% of our time to simply unwind and recharge. We fully endorse the therapeutic effects of crafting and are firm believers in the stress-relieving properties of creative expression. So, come and soak in the serene, artistic ambiance. Lake Valley Camp in Boscobel, WI is the ideal destination for a truly transformative outdoor experience. Located on 650 acres of private property, nestled amongst the hills and valleys of southwestern Wisconsin, this purpose-built facility provides a safe and welcoming atmosphere for campers and staff alike. 

At Lake Valley Camp, every day starts with the entire camp community gathered at the flagpole and ends with groups in their cabins, each with unique traditions and identities. Campers are encouraged to develop independence, a love of nature, creativity, and teamwork.
