Nestled in the mighty Midwest, cheesehead territory, and home of the fearless Badgers, is the charming state of Wisconsin. They're just as marvelous, as spunky as freshly squeaked cheese curds and as bright as the starlit northern sky. 

Now, in Wisconsin, you'll find a group of spectacular young wizards. But their magic doesn't consist of waving wands or chanting spells. No, siree! Their sorcery takes place in the kitchen, their wands are spatulas, and their spells are delicious recipes. These are the Wisconsin Whisk Whippers.

Leading this band of culinary conjurers is an imaginary character, Chef Chuckles, with his hat as tall as the state capitol and a belly laugh that could draw a smile from a block of cheddar. Chef Chuckles, a retired circus clown turned professional chef, teaches these kids the art of flavor flips and ingredient acrobatics with a sprinkle of humor. 

In this circus of flavors, kids juggle jalapenos, tame wild berries, balance bowls of batter on the tips of their noses, and walk on tightropes of spaghetti. The aroma of their magical creations wafts through the air, and the laughter rings louder than the kitchen timer. From the delectable Cheese Castle Casserole to the mysterious Lake Monster Stew, the Wisconsin Whisk Whippers are whipping up more than just food. They're serving up fun, camaraderie and a dash of whimsy, reminding us that cooking is an adventure best shared with friends.

RedBlueArts Academy

Appelton Memorial Park is a beloved community hub for outdoor fun and recreation. It is the largest and most diverse of Appleton Parks, boasting 143 acres of lush green, playgrounds, trails, and a fishing pond. Families can make use of the seven softball diamonds, the Miracle League Field, and the Appleton Family Ice Center. The park also has a pavilion and amphitheater that can be rented out and the Scheig Center and its surrounding gardens are open to visitors. In the winter months, when there is enough snow, areas of the park are groomed for cross-country skiing and a sled hill is available for all ages. Appelton Memorial Park is the perfect place to gather with family and friends and enjoy the great outdoors.

At Central Wisconsin Environmental Station (CWES), we are dedicated to providing a unique learning experience. Located 17 miles east of Stevens Point on glacial Sunset Lake, our 200-acre teaching and learning center has been an integral part of the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point College of Natural Resources program since 1975. Our experienced natural resource and environmental educators provide a range of programs designed to foster in adults and youth an appreciation, understanding, and skill development regarding the environment, economy, and community. 

We are committed to helping all our guests gain the motivation needed to build a sustainable balance between the environment, economy, and community. Through our interactive programs, we strive to provide a meaningful learning experience for all ages in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Central Wisconsin Environmental Station

North Star Camp is a premier residential camp for boys located in Hayward, Wisconsin, on 120 acres of land featuring 2.5 miles of Northwoods shoreline. Accredited by the American Camp Association, North Star provides a structured but not regimented environment for campers ages 8 to 15. The camp’s diverse program offers activities and experiences in athletics, water sports, creative arts, and adventure programming, as well as age-appropriate wilderness trips.

At North Star, campers learn to make decisions, express themselves, work in teams, and live with others in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. With the guidance of camp staff, campers build self-confidence, respect individual differences, and develop an appreciation for their surroundings. North Star’s Achievement Based Programming encourages healthy competition and helps campers stretch their imagination.

Camp Moshava is the perfect place for a meaningful summer experience. Nestled in Wisconsin’s central region, Moshava offers campers a wide selection of activities such as sports, swimming, arts & crafts, drama, boating, music, overnights, zip line, Maccabiah, and more. All activities are supervised by highly knowledgeable staff who ensure safety and help campers improve their skills. In addition, campers of all ages and genders partake in three daily tefilot and enjoy a strictly Glatt kosher menu. The camp’s Jewish educators, including rabbis, principals, teachers, and shlichim, provide shiurim which are led by participants in our kollel and midrasha. Parents, if you’re looking for a traditional summer camp experience for your son, look no further than Camp Nebagamon. Located in northwestern Wisconsin, near the shores of Lake Superior in the heart of Wisconsin’s Northwoods, Camp Nebagamon is a residential boys summer camp. The campers range in age from 3rd grade to freshman year in high school, and campers and staff come from all over the United States as well as international destinations. There are approximately 230 campers and 130 staff members at any given time. Sessions last either four or eight weeks. 

Camp Nebagamon has a rich history, dating back to 1929. Founded by Muggs and Janet Lorber of St. Louis, the original camp consisted of just 44 campers on a 75-acre site. Since then, the camp has been owned and directed by four different sets of owners. The idea of providing a complete Northwoods experience for boys from all over the country remains the same today as it was nearly a century ago. 

At Camp Nebagamon, your son will be able to experience a traditional summer camp with a rich history. The campers and staff hail from all over the United States and the world, and the camp offers both four- and eight-week sessions. With nearly 90 years of history, it’s a great place to send your son for a memorable summer camp experience.

We’ve seen campers make lifelong friendships that start with the shared experiences of living together at camp.

The girls in the cabin become a tightknit family unit. They share stories of the day, discuss victories and defeats, and even braid each other’s hair. Of course, there are also plenty of opportunities for laughter and silliness. This is the special bond that is formed between campers at Chippewa. 

To further strengthen these relationships, we pair counselors with the same cabin of girls each summer. This allows the counselors to form a strong bond with your daughter over the years. We’ve seen campers form friendships that last a lifetime and it all starts with the shared experiences of living and growing together at camp.
