About Birch Trail

Birch Trail Camp for Girls is located in the picturesque Northwest Wisconsin and is the perfect destination for girls looking to have a summer of fun and adventure. At this traditional camp, girls will find a wide selection of activities, including land and water sports, climbing, wilderness trips, crafts, drama, and horseback riding. Girls can also join one of the country’s premier wilderness tripping programs, designed to bring them closer to nature and help them cultivate friendships and memories to last a lifetime. At Birch Trail Camp for Girls, we are dedicated to providing a memorable experience that will stay with our campers for years to come. We strive to create a safe and inclusive atmosphere where girls can explore their interests, develop new skills, and make lasting friendships. Our campers will leave with a better appreciation for the great outdoors and a passion for life-long learning.

Programs

Waterskiing

Excellent instruction, four ski boats, a slalom course and a perfect skiing lake are the main ingredients of our ski program. Campers learn the basics of skiing of two skis and progress to Slalom skiing, trick skiing, and even barefoot waterskiing. More advanced skiers compete in the Wisconsin and Minnesota state tournaments. Although not a competitive camp, Birch Trail produces state champions every year!

Wilderness Trips

Birch Trail has one of the country’s premier wilderness tripping programs. Check out our rock climbing, canoeing, back packing, sea kayaking, sailing, mtn biking, horse back riding and more trip.

Arts and Crafts

Our 2500 sq foot Arts and Crafts building has many different crafts activities including: Painting, Paper mache, Tie dye, Knitting, Pottery and Ceramics, Jewelry, Batik, Wood working, Signs, Leather work, Stained glass and more. No prior experience required.
