Hoofbeat offers a unique horseback riding camp experience for girls and boys aged 8-13. The camp provides an opportunity for children to learn the basics of horseback riding while building positive relationships with other campers. Day campers will learn the fundamentals of horsemanship, receive instruction in riding, and have the chance to explore the outdoors.
Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts will also benefit from the Hoofbeat experience. Our retreats and conferences foster teamwork and communication while taking part in a variety of outdoor activities. Our goal is to provide every camper with a positive, enriching, and safe experience.
The spirit of adventure awaits your camper at Hoofbeat with an opportunity for building self-esteem, self-awareness and self-discovery in a wonderful child-oriented outdoor environment. The program allows campers to succeed at their own pace in a supervised, positive family setting. One-week sessions are available and parents may choose to select multiple sessions.
Facilities include a day camp building, an outdoor riding arena, athletic field, miles of riding and hiking trails, nature cabins and an indoor riding arena in case of inclement weather.
