In the heart of summer, when the lakes of Wisconsin are as warm and inviting as a bubbling pot of fondue, Whiskers and his tiny pals strap on their water-skis and put on a show that's as thrilling as a rollercoaster through a cheese factory. The water-skiing kids of Wisconsin, or as Whiskers likes to call them, "The Aqua Adventurers," are a splashy bunch. They zip and zoom over the water, leaving showers of sparkling droplets in their wake. They're as daring as they come, ready to take on any wave with a grin wider than Whiskers' when he spots a chunk of gouda. So, if you ever find yourself in Wisconsin, grab a cheese curd, head to the nearest lake, and keep an eye out for Whiskers and the "Aqua Adventurers". They're sure to make a splash! Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
Welcome to Birch Trail Camp for Girls, where summer memories last a lifetime! Located in the beautiful northwest corner of Wisconsin, this traditional camp for girls provides a variety of land and water sports, climbing, wilderness trips, crafts, drama, and horseback riding. Our wilderness-tripping program is one of the premier programs in the country and is designed to let every girl shine. No prior experience is necessary, just the enthusiasm to get out there and have fun!
