Einstein's Workshop is a hands-on community center where kids create, explore, and enjoy Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. During the summer, we offer STEAM camps for kids entering Kindergarten through 9th grade. Camp topics include Minecraft, LEGO robotics, 3D printing, Dungeons&Dragons, science, math, chess, programming, game learning, digital art, making, inventing, and engineering. During the school year we offer classes on the same topics and coach FIRST LEGO League teams. We host birthday parties for lovers of Minecraft, LEGO, and hands-on fun! We also offer drop-in hours for spontaneous play in our STEAM Play Space.

Cradles to Crayons is proud to offer an extensive network of Service Partners, all of whom are committed to helping us meet the needs of the children we serve. Our new mobile Partner Portal makes it easy for our Partners to place orders online, based on the specific needs of the children in their care. All orders are promptly processed in our Giving Factory, and ready for pickup. Our Partners then deliver the items directly to the families in need. We are confident that this system will continue to be an invaluable link in helping us provide children with the items they need.

At Legacy Studios, the love of dance is fostered in all. For the past 25 years, Amy and Laura have been committed to teaching dance to the Newton/Watertown/Waltham area, creating a family friendly environment where students can gain a strong technical foundation, physical stamina, and self esteem. The studio has evolved over the years, and is now taking on new life. With the encouragement of their teachers and the support of their peers, students at Legacy Studios are able to explore the joys of dance and develop their confidence in a safe and fun atmosphere.

For the past 20 years, PUDDLESTOMPERS Nature Exploration has been providing families in Greater Boston with engaging and interactive nature programming. Our goal is to inspire young children and their caregivers to explore the natural wonders in their own backyard and help combat climate change. We are proud to donate a portion of our revenue to each of the communities we serve, enabling them to support local environmental education and conservation initiatives. Since then, The Teddy Bear Club has grown to serve families from all over the greater Boston and Metro-West area, with two campuses located in Newton and Lincoln, MA. We offer morning and afternoon sessions for children ages 2 to 5 years old. Our bilingual French-English program provides children with a unique opportunity to become proficient in both languages. Our experienced teachers create a stimulating learning environment in which children can feel secure and develop at their own pace. At the Peirce Elementary School in West Newton, parents can enroll their children in the Peirce Extended Day Program (PEDP) for grades K-5. PEDP was founded in 1977 and is a nonprofit organization that provides enrichment activities and a safe and nurturing environment for kids. Kids can select from a variety of activities ranging from arts and crafts, sports, and cooking to music, drama, science, and more. Additional classes are also available such as Kids Cooking Green, Skiing/Snowboarding, Basketball, and Tennis. Best of all, field trips and special events are organized on a regular basis. At the Unitarian Society, we are lucky to have a beautiful historic building on the corner of Washington Street and Highland Avenue. What makes it even better is the huge fenced-in, well-equipped playground for our children to enjoy. Parents will also be pleased to know that our children have the use of the parish hall for an indoor gross motor room. To top it all off, there is also a cook’s kitchen that is used weekly to offer the children an exciting extended curriculum. We at the Unitarian Society are proud to be part of Pine Village, a community of small, neighborhood schools with a team of educators and business professionals dedicated to educating and nurturing each child’s individuality.
