But don't let the walrus fool you! Though Wally looks like a straight-laced, serious sort of sea beast, he's known for his silly shenanigans. One day, he might conduct the band with a carrot instead of a baton, or replace a drumstick with a fish! At the Peirce Elementary School in West Newton, parents can enroll their children in the Peirce Extended Day Program (PEDP) for grades K-5. PEDP was founded in 1977 and is a nonprofit organization that provides enrichment activities and a safe and nurturing environment for kids.
