At the Peirce Elementary School in West Newton, parents can enroll their children in the Peirce Extended Day Program (PEDP) for grades K-5. PEDP was founded in 1977 and is a nonprofit organization that provides enrichment activities and a safe and nurturing environment for kids. At Artisan Childcare Center, we understand the importance of educating the whole child. We have developed a curriculum that helps children develop physically, socially, emotionally and academically. Our primary focus is to introduce music into the lives of all children on a daily basis as research has proven that early exposure to music leads to a higher aptitude in learning. We have a degreed music educator who provides daily music lessons for our infant and toddler classrooms and piano lessons for our preschool students.
