The program focuses on the basics such as hitting, throwing, and fielding, and each session will begin with a “topic of the week” to provide drills and workouts. Registration is now open for the summer season and can be done through the Methuen Youth Baseball using the same login credentials from Spring Baseball. All ages are eligible to play, and teams will travel to other towns. Teams will be divided into three age groups: Majors 50/70 (ages 11/12), Minors (ages 9/10), and Rookies (ages 7/8). The cost for the program is $150 for Rookies and $175 for Minors and Majors. The Methuen YMCA Music Clubhouse offers an after-school program for kids and teens that provides access to instruments and free music lessons.
