Our story introduces a cast of cute, funny, and remarkably adventurous kiddos, who are fondly referred to as the ‘Nature Navigators’. Now, the Nature Navigators are not your average children. They swap video game controllers for magnifying glasses and favorite TV shows for real-life bird watching. You'll find them trudging through the ancient Appalachian trails, their sneakers splattered with mud, and laughter echoing through the trees. Our leader is a character as distinctive as Massachusetts itself; a rambunctious raccoon named Rocky. The Methuen YMCA Music Clubhouse offers an after-school program for kids and teens that provides access to instruments and free music lessons. This program provides a safe and fun environment for teens to explore their passion for music and to develop personal, academic, and social growth. Since 2014, the Methuen Music Clubhouse has been offering the local community the opportunity to learn to play instruments, take voice lessons, record and make beats, join live podcasts, or simply hang out and create.
