For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. Wyonegonic Camp for Girls is a place where a young girl can come to challenge herself and find her inner strength. The camp is located on Moose Pond in Denmark, Maine and is the oldest girls' camp in the nation. Wyonegonic offers both 3.5 and 7 week programs for girls aged 8 to 18, with a ratio of one counselor to three campers. With 750 acres of pine forest and thousands of feet of waterfront, Wyonegonic has something to offer every camper as they explore new activities in a safe, non-competitive atmosphere. At Wyonegonic, campers are encouraged to be themselves and develop lasting friendships in the simplicity of the outdoors. Wyonegonic counselors are positive mentors and have a minimum of one year of college. We are a nonprofit and rely on the generosity of donors to provide full camperships each summer. Summer Camp is more than just a place to have fun!
