Each day they race their sailboats on the crystal-clear waters, guided by the whispering winds and the cheerful cries of seagulls overhead. They zigzag around buoys, navigate through foggy mornings, and even occasionally dodge Larry, who is usually too busy practicing his backstroke to notice the approaching boats. And oh, the stories they have! There's Lighthouse Lucy, who once sailed her boat in such a perfect circle around a lighthouse that she made a rainbow appear in the spray. Or Windy Will, who can predict the wind direction just by sniffing. Then, there's Foggy Fred, who claims he can sail blindfolded in the thickest fog because he follows the sound of Larry's underwater singing. Their laughter echoes across the waves as they share tales of their exploits, and the ocean seems to chuckle along with them. Einstein's Workshop is a hands-on community center where kids create, explore, and enjoy Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. During the summer, we offer STEAM camps for kids entering Kindergarten through 9th grade. Camp topics include Minecraft, LEGO robotics, 3D printing, Dungeons&Dragons, science, math, chess, programming, game learning, digital art, making, inventing, and engineering. During the school year we offer classes on the same topics and coach FIRST LEGO League teams. We host birthday parties for lovers of Minecraft, LEGO, and hands-on fun! We also offer drop-in hours for spontaneous play in our STEAM Play Space.
Camp Med-o-lark is an all genders arts sleep away camp in Washington, Maine for children ages 7–16, set on the shores of a pristine lake.
