At Causby Karate Academy, we’re proud to offer martial arts training to the Denver and Lake Norman communities. Since 2008, we’ve welcomed students of all ages, ranging from 3 years old to those in their 70s. Our kids programs are separated into age groups, while adults can choose from Hapkido, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, or Tang Soo Do. We’re honored to have the opportunity to get to know each of our students and to invest in their growth and development. At Lake Norman Gymnastics Academy, we offer an exciting dance program called Dance Commotion, designed to introduce children to a variety of dance styles. From the fundamentals of ballet to the basics of modern dance, your little one will learn it all! No strict dress code is required, however proper dance attire and shoes are a must. At Little Dragon's Martial Arts, we believe in providing our young students with a strong foundation of knowledge and skills. We prioritize teaching a little information a lot, rather than a lot of information a little. Each class follows a daily routine, allowing the young students to become more and more efficient in their martial arts abilities. As they progress, they will learn more complex techniques and life skills, such as financial literacy. There is no rush for advancement, and we always allow the student to progress at their own rate. On average, students can expect to earn a high white belt after approximately six months, and a yellow belt after approximately one year.

We understand that dance can be an intimidating activity, and our instructors are dedicated to helping each student learn while having fun and building self-confidence. Our 6000 sq. ft facility offers four spacious dance studios for our students to learn in. Our studios are equipped with cameras and an app you can download to watch your child's progress from your phone. We want to create an environment where learning, having fun, and building self-confidence go hand in hand. We strive to provide quality dance instruction at an affordable rate. At our facility, we want parents to feel comfortable while their children are in class. We provide free wifi and a waiting area with comfortable seating for parents and siblings. Upscale Athletics was established in 2013 and began as one of Mooresville, NC's premier sports organizations. In 2015, the business relocated to Denver, NC and has since become a valued member of the community. Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Upscale Athletics had to close its facility and transition to privates, small groups and virtual coaching consultation in August 2020. Tamil Jones, the owner and founder of Upscale Athletics LLC, has over 30 years of experience in the gymnastics industry, and is also a Registered RBT who helps children with Autism. As such, Upscale Athletics now offers Autism Creative Learning and Guided Play sessions on Sunday afternoons in Davidson, NC.
