About Causby Karate Academy

At Causby Karate Academy, we’re proud to offer martial arts training to the Denver and Lake Norman communities. Since 2008, we’ve welcomed students of all ages, ranging from 3 years old to those in their 70s. Our kids programs are separated into age groups, while adults can choose from Hapkido, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, or Tang Soo Do. We’re honored to have the opportunity to get to know each of our students and to invest in their growth and development. Causby Karate Academy is dedicated to helping our students gain the benefits of martial art training. Our classes are designed to meet the needs of all ages, from young children to senior citizens. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment, and to foster a sense of confidence and accomplishment in our students. We look forward to continuing to serve the Denver and Lake Norman communities with our martial arts classes.

Grasshoppers Preschool (Ages 3-5)
This fun program is designed for pre-schoolers who want to get an early start with all of the lifelong benefits that martial arts offer. Martial art skills are taught within classes where teamwork, following directions, and focus development are emphasized in fun, high-energy classes!

Tigers & Dragons (Ages 5-8)
This program is for children from 5 to 8 years old. Students are introduced traditional Korean martial arts through a variety of games and drills. Fitness and self-discipline are key focal points.

Youth Karate (Ages 8-14)
Students learn the 2,000 year-old art of Tang Soo Do through our highly structured curriculum. Strikes, blocks, kicks, and grab-escapes are highly emphasized for self-defense purposes. Youth-only classes are for students ages 8-14. Adult-only classes are for students ages 14 and up.
