Salt Pump is the premier center for climbing and adventure in southern Maine. Our mission is to provide our community with the best in climbing, adventure and good living. We strive to embody the core values of the outdoors world in everything we do. Introductory courses are available on a regular basis to give climbers a solid foundation of the fundamentals of climbing. Our courses cover all the basics of bouldering, belayed top-rope climbing, and auto-belays. We also teach the fundamentals of ground-up climbing and provide simple techniques to make climbing safer and more enjoyable. Custom times and private instruction for all our courses are available by request. At Salt Pump, we are dedicated to providing our community with the best in climbing, adventure and good living. Fiddlehead is a place where children can explore and find inspiration to be creative and innovative. We provide an environment that fosters learning and growth through the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) in a fun and engaging way. Our goal is to give children the opportunity to develop their skills and explore their own interests. At Fiddlehead, our focus is on helping children become scientists, artists, and makers. We believe that combining the STEAM subjects is the best way to spark creativity and imagination. We offer a wide range of activities and materials to help children explore and express their ideas. From robotics to art projects, we strive to provide a stimulating and nurturing setting for children to learn and grow.

Furthermore, our enrichment classes and parent support groups provide opportunities for connection and growth. We offer educational music and movement classes, storytelling, and art and science classes, all taught by our experienced educators. Our parent support groups are facilitated by experts in the field of child development and offer a safe and supportive space for parents to share their experiences and ask questions. Summer camp is a unique experience that cannot be found in any other classroom. Opening and closing circle is just a hint of the wonderful world of summer camp that families can experience. From building fairy houses to using a curry comb on a horse, the activities that campers can participate in are diverse and exciting. Beyond the exciting activities, campers and counselors return year after year to experience the magic moments that are found at camp. Whether it’s playing flashlight tag on an overnight, swimming in the pool, or climbing the tire on the vertical playground, the memories made at camp are cherished and often shared.

No matter your musical background, you can get involved in your child’s musical growth. Music Together classes provide a unique opportunity for you and your child to experience music together while learning important skills. We make it fun! Music Together classes are designed to nurture the natural enthusiasm of children for music and movement. Our classes help you give your child basic musical skills that will be useful in school and other social activities. You don’t need to have any musical ability to get involved in your child’s musical growth. Music Together classes give you and your child the chance to make music together and have a great time doing it.

The studio boasts a fully mirrored wall, hardwood floor, barres, air conditioning, and a sophisticated sound system – all providing a safe and well-equipped place for your dancer to learn and grow. Parents can stay connected to their child’s progress while they wait in the comfortable waiting area, or through the viewing window. At ENCORE DANCE COMPANY, your dancer will find more than just a place to learn. It’s a place to discover the joys of dance and develop a sense of discipline and self-esteem. With the studio’s high-quality amenities and warm atmosphere, dancers and parents alike will find their time here enjoyable.

Our teachers are highly experienced dancers and teachers, and have an excellent rapport with children. They are dedicated to their craft and stay up to date with cutting edge choreography and learning techniques. The teachers are always exploring new ways of teaching and introducing steps, so that every dancer learns in the way that works best for them. Every teacher has a set curriculum to follow, to ensure students are learning the highest quality of technique. At Scarborough Dance Center, we provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn the art of dance. Our teachers have been in the business for 27 years, and remain committed to continuing their education through seminars, conventions, and more. Small Steps School of Dance is dedicated to creating a caring, developmentally appropriate and stress-free atmosphere for young dancers. Our mission is to help children fall in love with dance in a fun and recreational setting. Our classes combine creative and professional techniques to ensure each child can explore their passion for dance in a safe and supportive environment.
