At Lisa's Dance Studio Plus, preschool classes offer a fun and creative way for young children to enjoy the art of dance. Marblehead Youth Baseball offers an amazing opportunity for children to learn and appreciate the game of baseball and the skills it teaches. This program allows young athletes to make lasting friendships that will benefit them for years to come. Not only do kids have the chance to learn the fundamentals of the sport, but they also get to have a great time playing with friends and teammates. Marblehead Baseball provides a safe and fun environment for kids to explore and build upon their skills and love for the game. The program is open to kids aged 6-15, and a variety of team and individual activities are offered to keep the game fresh and exciting. Seaside Park has been a beloved part of the Swampscott community for over a century. On Thanksgiving Day 1913, the park played host to the first game in the town's athletic history, a football match between Swampscott and Marblehead High School. It was an epic battle, with the home team ultimately claiming victory over their rivals 13-0. Since then, Seaside Park has been the home field for the high school baseball team and American Legion teams, passing on a sense of community pride from generation to generation. It has become synonymous with the town and its signature architecture has earned a special place in the hearts of the locals. There is something special about Seaside Park that captures the spirit of the town of Swampscott. It has seen a century of triumphs and traditions, and will undoubtedly continue to be a part of the town's history for many years to come.
