Brenda owned a pet store with her sister Robin in Malden, MA for many years. In 1997, Ed and Brenda combined their knowledge and love for animals to create Animal Adventures. The organization provides a home to unwanted and unable to be cared for animals, while also traveling to schools, libraries, colleges, and other functions to teach people about these amazing animals. Children's Horizons Preschool is a beloved fixture in the Stow and Bolton communities. Founded by Audrey Davidson in 1987, this preschool has grown into an established resource for families in the area. In 1989, a second site was added at the First Parish Church on Main Street in Bolton. After Audrey retired in 2017, Karen Sawisch took over the operation, and continues to serve families in Stow, Bolton, and surrounding communities.
