Ed and Brenda Laquidara, founders of Animal Adventures, are passionate about rescuing exotic animals and educating the public. Ed's lifelong passion for exotics began in his youth, and he went on to gain his PhD in Zoology, becoming one of the top 20 herpetologists in the world. Brenda owned a pet store with her sister Robin in Malden, MA for many years. In 1997, Ed and Brenda combined their knowledge and love for animals to create Animal Adventures. The organization provides a home to unwanted and unable to be cared for animals, while also traveling to schools, libraries, colleges, and other functions to teach people about these amazing animals. Animal Adventures also offers birthday parties and classroom visits, so everyone can come and learn about exotic animals! Animal Adventures is a unique opportunity to witness and learn about exotic animals in an up close and personal setting.
