Bonita’s School of Ballet (BSOB) was founded in 1992 in Union County to share the joy of ballet with the local community. Bonita, a native of Monroe, was inspired to start the school after falling in love with ballet as a child. BSOB’s approach to teaching dance is focused on individualized instruction. Every student is encouraged to reach their personal best, with consideration for their strengths, talents, and feelings. The students form a special bond in the classroom, allowing them to grow together and learn from one another. The end goal of BSOB is to not only teach dance, but to make a lasting impact on each person who walks through the door. BSOB is dedicated to the growth of each student. The instructors create an environment of support and understanding, working to bring out the best in each individual. Not only are students trained in the fundamentals of ballet, but they are taught poise, style, and self-confidence.
