Unity opened its doors in 1996 in Chicopee Massachusetts and since then have been dedicated to sharing their passion for dance. They offer classes for students of all ages and strive to create a welcoming and encouraging family atmosphere. Not only have they shared their joy of dance with students on the dance floor, but they have also touched the lives of their students in a way that goes far beyond the studio.

VOC has come a long way since 1965. What began as a small Community and Regional Opportunity Program has grown into a large, multifaceted organization that offers over 30 programs to residents of Chicopee and Holyoke. The agency also invests in local communities by purchasing and renovating properties to provide both market-rate and low-income housing to those in need. VOC is committed to continuing to provide support and assistance to the Chicopee and Holyoke communities for years to come.

At Dance Dynamics, it all started about 38 years ago with Steppin Out. For the past three years, the studio has been owned by someone who has been dancing since the age of two. As the current owner, she loves the way that dance can bring out emotions through the movement of the body. Dance Dynamics offers a wide range of classes, such as Hip-Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, Pointe, Acro, Tap, Kinderdance, Tiny Tumblers, Adult Tap, and Adult HipHop. The studio strives to create a strong sense of community and belonging among their students, teaching them that everyone is equal and valuable. It's not just about the physical movements, but about the attitude and facial expressions as well. Everyone is welcome to join the Dance Dynamics family and discover the joys of dance with passion and feeling.

At Side By Side Preschool & Child Care Center, we understand each child is unique and develops at their own pace. Louise Kasak’s Dance Academy is a beacon of quality dance instruction in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Founded in 1974, the studio has flourished over the years under the leadership of the Kasak Sisters and currently stands as a testament to their hard work and dedication. Louise Kasak presently directs the Academy, which focuses on ensuring that each student’s well-being is taken into consideration every day. Beyond simply teaching the art of dance, the Academy strives to create a healthy and happy environment in which children can cultivate their technical skills while also growing in self-motivation and self-esteem. As a result, many former students have gone on to pursue a career in the field of dance. What’s more, the studio maintains its home-grown atmosphere as each of the teachers are former Kasak dancers, with many of them being the second generation of students at the studio.

At our dance program, we offer classes for children age three and up on an annual basis. Our teachers are passionate about helping our students learn the art of dance, and emphasize correct form and technique while focusing on developing strong bodies. At the end of the year, we have a performance revue in May, where we celebrate the success of our students. We are proud of our program and its excellence in teaching the art of dance.

For the past 16 years, Beyond Crayons has been a leader in the art education field for homeschoolers, toddlers, preschoolers, and children in the Belchertown and Chicopee communities. We started out as a small business in 2003, teaching art to homeschoolers. But soon, neighborhood parents wanted private and semiprivate lessons for their children, and we happily grew to meet that need. In 2016, we made the move to our larger location in Chicopee, MA. Then, in 2018, we expanded our program to include toddlers and preschoolers, and started offering workshops, group events, and birthday parties. Today, Beyond Crayons continues to be a leader in the art education field in the Belchertown and Chicopee communities. We strive to provide a safe and fun learning environment for kids of all ages, and are committed to helping children develop their skills and express their creativity.
