In 1999, Lane Beatty, a physical educator, had a vision to create a new type of summer camp for working parents in Naples, Florida. The Sports CLUB concept was a revolutionary idea that allowed children to choose from a variety of activities throughout the day, based on 45-minute rotations. Lane’s concept was based on the type of sports and games he had played growing up in a small town in Northern Michigan. After a successful summer camp, parents asked to have the same choices during the after-school program as well. Thus, the non-profit organization Sports Camp, Inc. was formed and the after-school Sports CLUB program began. Sports CLUB is dedicated to helping children achieve a balanced lifestyle that includes equal emphasis on academics, the arts and athletics. The program provides students with homework help, arts and crafts, and a variety of physical activities between 2:45-6:30 p.m. Today, the program has grown significantly and is making a positive impact on over 1000 students in Collier County.

For the past two decades, Kate has been providing essential swimming lessons in South West Florida. Through her mission, she has been dedicated to giving children and adults the joy of swimming and teaching them essential water safety skills. With over 35 years of experience in the United States and Canada, Kate is a Red Cross and YMCA certified first aid, CPR, water safety instructor, and lifeguard. She is also a PADI certified scuba diver. Her expertise and passion for swimming and water safety has allowed her to help hundreds of people gain confidence in the water. Kate’s commitment to providing the highest quality swimming instruction has been unwavering for the past 20 years. Her dedication to helping individuals of all ages learn the importance of water safety and enjoy the pleasures of swimming has been an admirable and lasting impact on the South West Florida community.

Little League Softball® has come a long way since its establishment in 1974. Today, it is one of the most popular youth sports, with over 360,000 athletes participating in more than 24,000 teams in over 20 countries. Initially, there were only two divisions: Little League® and Big League. However, they now offer programs for girls ages 4 through 18. Participating in Little League Softball® gives young athletes the opportunity to learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and build lasting friendships. Each year, local Little Leagues enroll players within their boundaries to create teams and play a regular season against neighboring communities. In June, teams have the chance to select and enter all-star teams to compete in the Little League International Tournament. This event provides an exciting way for young players to test their skills against other teams from around the world. Little League Softball® provides an excellent platform for girls to learn and grow. It’s a great way to teach the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication. With the wide variety of programs available, girls of all ages can find an opportunity to exercise their skills and enjoy being part of a team.

Gulf Coast Runners, a 501c3 non-profit organization, offers a unique way to give back to your local community. By being a member, you help support Youth Running programs and Scholarship programs. Not only will you be able to engage in a healthy lifestyle yourself, but you can also volunteer to work at one club race per year. Gulf Coast Runners also provides training opportunities throughout the year to help you become a more experienced running enthusiast. We provide programs in football and cheer for youth ages five to sixteen in Eastern Collier, Naples, FL. We strive to create an atmosphere of fun and learning, while teaching valuable lessons such as teamwork, sportsmanship, respect for others and commitment. At First Tee, we believe the game of golf is more than just a game. Since 1997, we’ve worked to make golf affordable and accessible to kids of all backgrounds. We started on golf courses, but now bring our program to physical education classes across the country. At Tenley's Aquatics, we believe that swimming is a life skill and it should be taught to everyone. We strive to provide safe and effective swim instruction for persons of all ages and abilities. Our instructors are trained to incorporate the same style and technique of teaching so that regardless of the student, they will experience phenomenal success. We offer private, semi-private, and small group lessons, as well as lessons for children ages 6 - 18 months (though a parent or responsible adult must accompany them). Lessons can take place in either your home pool or community pool, provided it is within the designated zip codes of 34117, 34119, 34120 and 34142. Our priority is the safety and well-being of our students, so you can be sure that safety rules and skills will be taught and applied in every lesson. We will also help students overcome fear of the water, learn proper stroke techniques, and improve competitive strokes for more efficient propulsion through the water. Additional fees may be applicable for those requesting lessons outside of the service area.

At Infant Swimming Resource (ISR), the safety of your child is their top priority. With over 50 years of research-backed experience, ISR Instructors have trained over 8,000,000 students and saved more than 800 lives. This is why ISR instructors are highly trained professionals and undergo annual recertification. The aim of ISR lessons is to teach survival swimming skills to children.
