About Us In the heart of New Castle County, Delaware, you'll find Wings Lacrosse, a sports program that has been nurturing young talent since 1990. What began as a small initiative involving just twenty-four seventh and eighth-grade boys has now flourished into a thriving community of over 400 children from Kindergarten to eighth grade. Our spring season spans from March till the early days of June, with teams meticulously organized based on grade, experience, and skill level. Our Philosophy At Wings Lacrosse, our goal is to create an environment where young athletes can learn, play, and genuinely enjoy the sport of lacrosse. We strive to foster a safe, positive, and fun atmosphere that promotes not only good sportsmanship but also valuable citizenship skills. Our program is designed with a holistic approach to player development, focusing on both their on-field performance and their off-field character. We aim to instill within each player a deep-seated love for the game, respect for both teammates and opponents, and a strong sense of teamwork and sportsmanship. We firmly believe that lacrosse offers a unique opportunity to learn vital life skills that will contribute to their success in any endeavor they pursue.
