Our school has been providing art education for 17+ years, and our reputation for quality has been growing. We started with only 7 students in 2002, and today we have over 600! We are proud to have families that have been with us since their children were 4 years old, and have grown with us until they graduate high school. Situated in the tranquil Rancho Penesquitos neighborhood, US Arts is an art school that offers classes for children and adults ages 4-18. Our faculty are well-versed in both Eastern and Western art styles, and our curriculum is focused on helping our students reach their artistic potential. We believe that personalized instruction is the key to success, which is why we keep our class sizes small. Our passion is to provide an excellent education in the visual arts, which is why we have created a system of instruction that has been proven to be effective. Students at US Arts benefit from our expertise and our commitment to helping each of them reach their full potential. Early in 2012, the library was given a facelift with new carpeting and a new roof. Ocean Beach’s library is a beloved part of the community, providing patrons with excellent services and programs. Thanks to a dedicated group of supporters, the library continues to be a popular fixture in the area. The library building in Ocean Beach is a reminder of the town’s commitment to education. Our program encourages positive guidance and discipline, with a special focus on positive reinforcement, redirection, prevention and self-discipline. To ensure everyone is on the same page, we have a few rules in place that are meant to prioritize safety. Our staff works with participants to establish standards of acceptable behavior so that everyone is on the same page. We expect good behavior and cooperation from everyone in the program. At our program, we're big believers in positive guidance and discipline, which is why we emphasize positive reinforcement, redirection, prevention, and self-discipline. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we have set some rules that we expect all participants to follow. To that end, our team works with each participant to ensure they understand the standards of acceptable behavior. We are committed to fostering an environment of good behavior and cooperation for all. Our program encourages positive guidance and discipline, with a focus on positive reinforcement, redirection, prevention, and self-discipline. The rules we have set in place are there to prioritize safety and to ensure we have a shared understanding of what behavior is acceptable. The Point Loma/Hervey Library in San Diego is a place where your whole family can explore. With its two-story building boasting a marine and nautical theme, your children will be delighted as they explore the sailboat reading room complete with portholes, mast and sails, and a functioning submarine periscope on the first floor. For mom and dad, the library features several conference rooms, a computer lab, and a media room, as well as a Veterans Resource Center. This center is staffed by volunteers and supported by the California Department of Veterans Affairs, and is available by appointment.
