At Mesa Rim, we’re passionate about providing a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for all climbers. Our mission is to provide an experience that inspires and empowers people to reach their highest potential through movement. We believe that climbing is more than just a sport – it’s a lifestyle that builds community and encourages personal growth. Since opening its doors in Mira Mesa, San Diego in 2010, Mesa Rim has become a hub for climbers to explore their passion. Our founders had the goal of creating a space where people of all walks of life could feel comfortable going outside their comfort zone and experiencing the thrill of movement. Now, Mesa Rim has grown to be much more than what our founders imagined. We have several full service climbing centers and the Mesa Rim Climbing Academy, all of which are dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all climbers. Our mission is to inspire and empower people to reach their highest potential through movement. We see climbing as a lifestyle that builds community and encourages personal growth. At Mesa Rim, we strive to give our climbers the best possible experience. We believe that climbing is more than just a sport, it’s a way of life. Our goal is to give our climbers the tools they need to reach their highest potential and to create a community of climbers that are supportive and encouraging of each other’s growth.

Youth Camps
Mesa Rim’s Climbing Camp is a great place for young adventurers to experience rock climbing, learn new skills, and make friends! Camp activities are tailored to each child based on their age and experience level. Under the guidance of experienced coaches, campers will learn basic climbing movement, how to tie knots, and how to belay other climbers. They’ll also play fun, mentally challenging games, do arts + crafts, and work on their flexibility and mindfulness during youth yoga classes!
