At The Children’s Workshop in Providence, families of all ages are welcome! We’re a grassroots nonprofit supporting urban students and teachers through the power of debate. Our programs offer a comprehensive toolkit that puts urban students on a fast track to academic success, college and career readiness, and engaged citizenship. Through twice-weekly debate practices, monthly tournaments, and transformational in-school programs, debaters at our 10 partner schools gain essential critical thinking, research, media literacy, presentation, and social-emotional skills, all while learning the power and impact their voices can have on their community and the world.

Brown Pre-College Programs are a great way to find out if college life is right for you—all while having a blast. As a parent, you want the best for your child, and Brown Pre-College Programs offer them the opportunity to explore the college experience without the pressure of formal grades. At The Center for Dynamic Learning, we are dedicated to helping young people reach their full potential. Through our science, art, and theatre programs, we provide a unique learning environment that encourages creative thinking, problem solving, and collaboration. Our curriculum is designed to help youth gain critical thinking, reading comprehension and oral communication skills, as well as to develop their professional skills so that they are better prepared for the workforce. Every semester, we offer 28-35 programs, providing over 100 youth with work experience each summer and 60 throughout the academic year. We are proud to announce that we are in our 18th season of providing youth with the necessary tools to reach their goals.

Our center provides quality care and education for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years. At The Child Care Center, we provide a safe and stimulating environment for your child. From the moment they arrive, they will be encouraged to explore, learn and grow.
