About Eastside Early Learning Center of RI

Are you looking for a safe and nurturing environment for your little one? The Child Care Center, located on the Eastside of Providence, is a non-profit childcare center that has been serving families since 1980. Our center provides quality care and education for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years. Our staff of experienced and dedicated professionals are licensed by the Department of Children Youth and Families, and can accommodate up to 44 children. At The Child Care Center, we provide a safe and stimulating environment for your child. From the moment they arrive, they will be encouraged to explore, learn and grow. Our preschool program is designed to help children develop important skills including communication, problem solving and cognitive thinking. We also provide a variety of activities such as story time, music, art, and outdoor play. We understand that choosing a childcare center is an important decision for any family. We strive to create a welcoming and family-friendly environment, and provide parents with the peace of mind that their child is receiving the best care and education. With over 40 years of experience, we are committed to providing the highest quality of care to the families of Providence and beyond.

INFANT 6 WEEKS- 18 MONTHS
We strive to provide a home away from home. The basis of our infant curriculum is the relationship the caregiver establishes with each child and family. While no one replaces Mom or Dad, our caregivers are truly dedicated to each and every infant, providing a safe, nurturing environment. Infants in our program feel secure to explore their surroundings, while gaining self-confidence as they grow.

TODDLER 18 MONTHS- 3 YEARS
Toddlers are bubbling with curiosity and energy, feeding their love for learning. Our toddler program is designed to provide opportunities for children to explore their new abilities while getting to know themselves and the world around them. Communication and social-emotional skills are the foundations for building self-esteem.

PRESCHOOL 3-5 YEARS OLD
Our preschool program consist of three groups: Young Preschool (younger 3s); Preschool 3 (older 3s); and PreKindergarten (4 and 5). We provide a balance of nurturing care as well as opportunities for growth in every area of development. Because each child develops at his/her own pace in each developmental area, we use assessment and planning to best meet your child's needs.
