Once upon a time, in the petite but piquant state of Rhode Island, known for its sandy shores and scrumptious clams, a gang of adventurous kids discovered the magical realm of farming. It boasted a landscape so full of lush green fields and gigantic vegetable patches that it seemed to stretch on forever, much larger than their small state. These kids, who were as diverse as the different crops they cultivated, were led by the plucky young girl named Tomato Tammy, who had a comically round, red nose, much like a tomato, courtesy of the sun's kisses. The kids in Rhode Island, especially the Farming Frenzy crew, were known for their titanic tenacity and huge hearts, perfectly complemented by their dirt-streaked faces and wellington-boot-clad feet. Don't let their small size fool you. These pint-sized farmers could wrestle with a rogue pumpkin vine, charm a carrot out of the ground, or even sing a corn stalk taller. They were masters at coaxing veggies from the earth, and animals loved them too, from the clucking chickens to the tiniest honeybee buzzing around. Every sunrise saw them sprinting across the dew-kissed fields, with Tomato Tammy leading the charge. Maybe it was due to the endless cups of hot cocoa they drank, or the magical whispers of the wind through the corn stalks, or the way the fireflies danced around them in the summer evenings, but these kids could grow anything. From humongous watermelons that looked like they had swallowed a beach ball, to sunflowers that seemed to scrape the sky, the kids of Rhode Island were truly the reigning champions of the farming world, painting their little state with the vibrant colors of their harvests.
