The Cavett Kids Foundation is a community where illness does not define the child. We offer camps and year-round programs completely FREE of charge, for kids with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. Our programs allow them to have fun while also connecting to others with similar medical conditions. Our programs are free for kids to attend because of the generous support of our donors. Our programs include kids with a wide range of serious illnesses, including heart disease, cancer, cystic fibrosis, Crohn’s disease, kidney failure, and much more.




OU Health Harold Hamm Diabetes Center’s Camp Blue Hawk is dedicated to, serving children and teens living with type 1 diabetes through summer camp as well as year-long support programs. We create opportunities for campers to build their confidence, strengthen diabetes self-management skills and create long-lasting friendships. For many of our campers, this may be the only place they have to interact with other children who also have type 1 diabetes. 500 children with T1D benefit from Camp Blue Hawk annually. Our goal is that by attending Camp Blue Hawk programs, children and their families feel supported by community and confident in the daily challenges associate with type 1 diabetes.













The J.D. McCarty Center's camp is perfect for kids aged 8 to 18 who are looking for fun and adventure. With two cabins, an activities building and an 11-acre lake, the camp offers plenty of exciting activities to choose from.
