Yes, you heard that right, a compass! It spins and twirls when they're close to a new discovery. And with every stride, they test their courage against the tall grass prairies, formidable forests, and mystical mountains of Oklahoma. From the robust Redbud trees that blush bright pink in the spring to the whispering winds weaving tales across the Great Plains, our heroes plunge into the uncharted wilderness, turning every hike into a rambunctious romp. They often bump into the state's woolly residents, the bison, who often join them for a cup of twig tea and a game of tumbleweed bowling. Yes, tumbleweed bowling! You'd be amazed at how competitive a bison can be. One thing is for sure, in Oklahoma, every hike is an epic adventure! So, if you ever spot a giggling gaggle of kids, with a freckled boy at the helm, brandishing a map like a mighty sword, well, you've just met the OK Hiking Heroes.
