The Westerhoff School of Music & Art offers private and group MUSIC INSTRUCTION in piano, drums, guitar, violin, viola, cello, clarinet, saxophone, flute and voice. ​​Our ART STUDIO provides a comprehensive program. We serve students ages 6 through adult. Introducing GALERIE WESTERHOFF, featuring curated fine art exhibitions from regional artists.

The Sportsplex at Metuchen is now running our fifth year of our very own Little Dribblers Basketball Program! Our program is an effective and successful way of impacting your children’s skill level while making a meaningful connection to the children as well. The coaching staff are very well-trained and dedicated to making sure they are making a contribution to the children, not only on the court, but off the court. Our curriculum is designed to ensure that every participant engages in their own exciting experience and takes a step toward their basketball careers.

Rockness Music offers custom built early childhood music classes and assemblies classes for your school. Our fun and educational music enrichment classes for kids offer children an opportunity to build life skills, confidence, and positive traits through playfully dramatic exercises covering everything from language to motor skills to STEAM. We customize our curriculum for our partner schools and offer a fun, and valuable music education program. Our preschool music assemblies cover a variety of topics from Social and Emotional Development to dance parties!

We believe that the key to a successful music and art journey is to start with the basics all the while managing to keep your child interested and excited about learning new skills. We provide classes for a variety of musical instruments as well as art classes for all age levels. We have piano, violin, cello, flute, clarinet, guitar, drum, percussion, and vocal lessons. Our award-winning studio is dedicated to providing quality dance education to each individual student in a safe and nurturing environment. We believe that dance is a powerful form of communication and expression, and a great way to learn discipline and develop important skills. At MDFF, we share our love and knowledge of dance with each student and encourage their self-confidence and individual goals. We recognize that not every student wants to become a professional dancer, but all will benefit from the skills they learn. Students will gain motor skill development, better attention span, time management, teamwork, discipline, socialization, creativity, and commitment. These skills will be important throughout their lives, no matter what career path they choose. Since 1992, Ms. Doreen’s Fabulous Feet Dance Arts Studio has been providing quality dance education to students of all ages. We strive to create a safe and nurturing environment and to help each student reach their individual goals. Our award-winning studio has become an established part of the Metuchen community and looks forward to continuing to inspire and educate future generations.

Black Belt Institute has been Metuchen and Edison's leader in Martial arts & Fitness since 1993. During this time we have taught martial arts, moral and mental skills to thousands of adults and children from all walks of life. Students who have taken martial art classes with us now use the lessons they learned as doctors, government officials, school teachers, engineers and many other professions. We hope to help you and/or your children with the same time tested skills and lessons that many others have benefited from.

Earthsongs Studio, established by Linda Vonderschmidt-LaStella and Nino Pasquale LaStella in 1993, is located in the heart of a small town, Metuchen, NJ. The couple’s desire was to create both a working studio and an oasis of peace in the midst of the frenzy of life in Central New Jersey. The house and out-building, both nearly 100 years old, along with the gardens were designed to attract and provide a sanctuary for visitors.
