We also offer Song-writing & Music Theory classes to help our students further their understanding of music. Al Bender’s Kung Fu Academy of New Jersey has been inspiring and training students since its founding in June 1981. Those aged 5 and up can learn the traditional Kung Fu styles of Northern Shao Lin Chuan, Tai Chi Chuan, Hsing Yi Chuan, and Pa Kua Chang in addition to training in an array of traditional weapons, including Broadsword, Double Edge Sword, Long Staff, Cane (or umbrella), Spear, and 9 Section Steel Whip. For adults and children ages 5 and up, there are also classes in Contemporary Wushu. At Al Bender’s Kung Fu Academy of New Jersey, students are given the opportunity to learn a variety of martial arts styles and weapons. From June 1981, students aged 5 and up have been trained in Northern Shao Lin Chuan, Tai Chi Chuan, Hsing Yi Chuan, and Pa Kua Chang, as well as Broadsword, Double Edge Sword, Long Staff, Cane (or umbrella), Spear, and 9 Section Steel Whip. Lovlee is the proud wife of one, and she is the mother of four beautiful children. She is an artist with a passion for children and the performing arts. Lovlee comes from a long line of creative women, and has been creating art since she was very young. Her unique style of mixed media art is a blend of natural, textured, recycled/repurposed elements, and paints. Lovlee believes in sharing her passion for the arts with her community and its families. She presently has the privilege of being the Children's Art Director for the Bloomfield Recreation Department, and has also been able to volunteer in the Demarest Elementary School during the 2016-2017 school year. Lovlee is excited to bring her love for the arts and her love for people of all ages together to experience the joy of creating art.

At Universal Martial Arts we specialize in children's and adult Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, and Cardio Kickboxing. Students receive training from renowned State, National, and World coaches that are willing and dedicated to their students.
