The Cabarrus Arts Council is devoted to providing a multitude of cultural arts programs that honor the abundance of our county and our world. From the Davis Theatre, to The Galleries, to one of North Carolina's largest arts-in-education programs for Cabarrus County and Kannapolis City school systems, the Arts Council is dedicated to utilizing the arts to enrich our communities. Not only does the Cabarrus Arts Council support local arts organizations and artists through grants and workshops, they also serve as a catalyst and consultant for public and corporate art. They are committed to promoting the use of art to create vibrant communities, and to helping our county and our world to grow and flourish through the power of art. The Cabarrus Arts Council is at the forefront of providing diverse and enriching cultural arts programs across the county and the world. Ms. Esha Goyal had a dream that took years to come to fruition - to open a prestigious school of dance, which she named SAHAJ SCHOOL OF DANCE. The word 'sahaj' translates to 'simple', and this school provides an uncomplicated approach to learning dance. Knowing that "everything is possible if you believe in yourself," Esha was determined to share her knowledge and talent with those around her. Classes are kept small to ensure that each student receives individual attention and guidance. Instructors are dedicated to teaching proper rhythm, correct form and execution, good posture, and graceful movement. These skills help to build student confidence, which is enhanced by multiple performance opportunities throughout the year. By the time students graduate, they have learned to hold an audience's attention and have developed a strong sense of teamwork. SAHAJ SCHOOL OF DANCE has been a great success for Esha Goyal. Through her belief that "everything is possible if you believe in yourself," she has created an environment where students can learn to express themselves and grow in confidence. Inspired by time spent with her daughter, Alyssa has started her own business: Zumbini with Alyssa Gentes LLC. Through this business, Alyssa is able to help bring smiles and joy to children and their caregivers. She focuses on energy, fun, and play to help kids develop cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Alyssa loves meeting other moms and caregivers while bonding and sharing experiences. Proud of her business, she is looking forward to sharing it with others. Plus, she is CPR Red Cross certified. Founded in July of 2020, Alyssa was inspired to start her business after the birth of her daughter Emery. She aims to provide children and their caregivers with energy, fun, and play to assist in the natural development of cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Alyssa also takes pride in meeting other moms and caregivers, and talking about their mutual experiences. To top it off, she is CPR Red Cross certified and ready to share her business with others. Alyssa Gentes is an inspiring businesswoman. With her daughter Emery as her motivation, she started her own business Zumbini with Alyssa Gentes LLC in July of 2020 during the pandemic. Her goal is to bring smiles and joy to children and their caregivers through energy, fun, and play to help develop cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills.
