At Lions Bear Lake Camp, we understand the importance of teaching children essential leadership skills that will help them succeed in life.
Our campers gain self-confidence and learn the importance of developing positive relationships with their peers, as well as how to manage their own emotions and behavior.
Our activities are designed to help campers foster a sense of responsibility and develop their critical thinking skills.
Lions Bear Lake Camp is dedicated to providing premier outdoor educational and recreational experiences to all persons, regardless of ability.
We offer a variety of activities including swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, archery, arts and crafts, and team building.
Our campers have the opportunity to explore nature while learning about wildlife conservation, environmental stewardship, and outdoor safety.
We also host special events and activities throughout the year, such as overnight camping trips and field trips into some of Michigan’s most beautiful parks and forests.
Trail hikes, low ropes, climbing tower and zip line, team building games, group bonding, bonfires, swimming, camp food, songs, crafts and so much more. Summer camps are certainly not the only thing we do at Lions Bear Lake Camp, but it has always been a central piece of our reason for being. We approach summer camp with a great deal of preparation.
