Mass Motion Dance was founded in 1983 in Sturbridge, Massachusetts under the direction of Terri Gordon. Terri was a former member of the Boston Ballet and Tanz Forum in Cologne, Germany. She is passionate about teaching dance and is driven to develop each student’s technique to its highest level. In 2003, the Boston studio opened under the direction of Irada Djelassi and in 2017 the MMD Metro West opened its doors in Medfield, MA under the direction and ownership of Irada Djelassi and Alexis Stansky Murphy. Irada and Alexis bring their own unique experiences and energy to the studio and continue to foster and develop the students in their technical and artistic goals. Our experienced faculty consists of professional dancers, choreographers and instructors from all over the world.
