Are you looking for a fun and safe way to introduce your 5-15 years old with type 1 diabetes to the camping experience? Look no further than Barton’s summer day camps! Each day is filled with the kind of typical day-camp activities such as swimming, indoor and outdoor sports, arts and crafts, and music. What's more, in a place where every other kid is just like your child, they will have the opportunity to play some special diabetes games, while having their Blood Glucose Monitoring and insulin doses taken care of by trained counselors who all have type 1 diabetes themselves. Barton’s summer day camps are located in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York and provide a great introduction to the camping experience for children with diabetes.

Summer Programs
Children and adults alike share the triumphs and tribulations of living with diabetes. Children no longer feel different or alone, and their parents can relax knowing that their sons and daughters are in a safe and secure environment.

Fall, Winter Spring Programs
All programs feature low staff to participant ratios, expert medical staff, well-trained, hard working counselors – many of whom were once campers and have diabetes themselves.
