Our Easthampton campers have the opportunity to have fun, make friends, and gain an understanding of the natural world around them. We offer 9 classrooms that are expertly designed to meet the individual needs and development of children from 6 weeks to 8 years old. Our program and activities are designed to meet the needs of the children in their age-appropriate groups. We strive to create a positive experience for each and every child in our care. The Hackworth School of Performing Arts (HSPA) is located in Easthampon MA and provides exceptional dance instruction to students of all ages and abilities. Since its founding 86 years ago, the family-run institution has maintained a commitment to fostering creativity and individual growth in a safe, nurturing atmosphere. Experienced instructors and directors guide classes in a wide variety of dance styles, ranging from ballet to modern to hip-hop. HSPA has been in the Hackworth family for three generations. It all began in 1933, when Jackie Hackworth opened the studio with the goal of providing a place for dancers to grow and learn. Over the years, her daughters Lisa Anthony and Alison Forance have continued to uphold the standards established by their mother, training a new generation of dancers to reach their potential. Today, HSPA has become one of the most respected dance institutions in New England and one of the longest running studios in the country. At HSPA, a strong sense of “love and family” is at the core of the studio’s mission. From the youngest tappers to the most experienced performers, everyone is welcomed into a warm, encouraging environment. Instructors and directors strive to inspire each student to reach their full potential, and create a safe space for exploration and growth. The Hackworths’ legacy lives on in every dancer who steps onto the stage, making HSPA a truly unique and special place.

Silat is an Indonesian martial art that offers a variety of techniques and energy practices that can help people reach their goals. Through the four animals of Silat—Crane, Tiger, Monkey and Dragon—we learn wondrous skills and techniques to tap into their energies. This can open us up to possibilities we never thought possible. Each Silat session begins with bowing in, a practice that shows respect for the training space and for each other. It is followed by meditation and breathing exercises, cardiovascular warm-up with animal movement, stretching, skill building, verbal and physical self-defense, and strikes to the pad. We also learn forms and close each session with a closing circle. The mission of Silat is to inspire personal transformation through martial arts, fitness and self-defense training in a compassionate environment. Through the practice of Silat, we help to empower people to be healthy, strong and awesome! When we tap into the energies of the four animals of Silat, we can help unleash our full potential and achieve our goals.

Heron's Bridge/Valley Women's Martial Arts has been a non-profit, collaboratively led, member oriented school and community center since 1977, offering multi-disciplinary arts education based in feminist social justice activism. Founded with the goal of encouraging transformation, accessibility, and inclusion, their mission is to provide instruction in martial arts, movement meditation, empowerment skills, self-protection and self-care strategies, healing and peace-building methods, interpretive dance, poetry, and more. HB/VWMA welcomes participants of any gender, physical/mental ability, race, creed, ethnicity, socio-economic background, sexual orientation, and body size. Program fees are on a sliding scale basis, ensuring that no one is excluded from taking part in these important programs. At Heron's Bridge/Valley Women's Martial Arts, everyone can participate in their innovative and empowering programs. They make sure to provide a welcoming atmosphere for people of all abilities and backgrounds, and strive to make their classes and workshops open to as many people as possible. . Founded and operated by the Shand family, World Sports Camp has close to a half century of experience. For over 50 years, World Sports Camp has provided an enriching experience for children and young adults of all ages. The extensive sports programs offer an opportunity for everyone to participate in athletic activities, friendly competition and intraleague play. Foreign campers will have the opportunity to become more fluent in English. Qualified licensed instructors will help each foreign camper improve their accent, grammar and vocabulary, while having fun. Campers will also be able to experience American culture through field trips and other activities. World Sports Camp is committed to creating a safe, fun and welcoming environment for everyone who attends. World Sports Camp offers an unbeatable experience that allows campers to learn and grow both athletically and socially. The campers will have the opportunity to become immersed in a new culture, make lifelong friends and memories, and of course, have fun!
