Campers also have the opportunity to make lifelong friends in a small, nurturing community. The camp also offers structured free play and choice time, allowing campers to feel a sense of belonging and empowerment to learn. In 2013, Camp Manitowa is offering week long specialty camps that focus on water skiing, magic, rock school, science, and the popular sport of Gaga. Windy City Fieldhouse (WCF) is Chicago’s premier team building and entertainment complex, providing space for a range of court-based sports activities, leagues, and youth programs. Through camps, events, and programs, we’ve been able to help girls gain confidence in sports and life. We’ve used feedback from the girls and studied communication and teaching methods to craft fun and customized programs. Our programs use incentives to get girls excited about staying active and building their skills. We take great pride in the impact we’ve had and the values and life skills we’ve helped instill in the girls. By encouraging an active lifestyle, we’ve been able to help girls build self-confidence and teach them the importance of having a healthy lifestyle.
