At Camp Albrecht Acres, we’ve been providing a unique camping experience for people with special needs since 1975. We’ve grown from a small operation of tent camping to a 40-acre residential camp that serves more than 600 campers each summer. Campers are able to enjoy time in the pool, create art in our arts and crafts section, explore nature in our Beidler Nature Center, and take part in weekly dances. Each activity is adapted to their individual needs and abilities, so everyone is able to participate. We are grateful for the generous support we receive from our community, who understand the importance of recreational services for our population of people with special needs. Since 1926, Camp Tanager has been providing children with the opportunity to have a summer camp experience, regardless of financial circumstances. Under the administration of Tanager Place, and with the guidance of the Camp Director, Camp Tanager offers a variety of Day, Overnight and Specialized Camp Programs for youth ages 6+.
