At Peninsula Bay Cities Day Camp, we offer a variety of ACA Accredited camp programs for children ages 4-13. Our program is designed to promote fun and learning in a safe and welcoming environment. We teach vital 21st century skills such as communication, connection, collaboration, problem solving, teamwork, and sportsmanship that will help kids develop lifelong skills. Our camp is located on Palos Verdes Drive North, near Western Avenue at the Rolling Hills Preparatory School. We are proud to have been offering ACA accredited camp programs since 1995 and believe that it is our duty to ensure that children have the best possible experience while they are here. At Peninsula Bay Cities Day Camp, we strive to provide a caring and nurturing atmosphere for all campers. Our program focuses on creating a positive environment that encourages children to explore, discover, and grow. We believe that our program provides the perfect opportunity for kids to have fun and learn valuable skills that will help them in their future.

Welcome to Los Serenos de Point Vicente! We are a volunteer organization dedicated to assisting and supporting the City of Rancho Palos Verdes’ objectives for the Point Vicente Interpretive Center. Our museum features exhibits on the natural and cultural history of the Peninsula, Abalone Cove Shoreline Park, Forrestal Nature Preserve/Ladera Linda Community Center, and the Trails at Trump National. Los Serenos volunteers provide interpretive and educational services to the community regarding the unique features and natural and cultural history of the Palos Verdes Peninsula and adjacent waters. We achieve this through docent-led tours, special events, workshops, and classes. Our goal is to provide meaningful experiences for all our visitors. We are proud to be part of the Rancho Palos Verdes community and we look forward to welcoming you to the Point Vicente Interpretive Center and other sites managed by Los Serenos. For over 45 years, the Peninsula Sports Camps have been providing education and instruction to more than 90,000 young athletes. Tom Maier, the camp director and one of the South Bay’s most prominent basketball coaches, has 730 wins and 4 CIF titles under his belt. His master’s degree from USC in physical education with a specialty in sports administration means he is the ideal candidate to lead athletes to self-improvement. Coach Maier’s credentials include Boys Varsity Basketball Coach at Chadwick School (27 years), Redondo Union High School (12 years) and Girls Varsity Basketball Coach at Palos Verdes High School in Palos Verdes for 5 years. The Peninsula Sports Camps are run by three outstanding coaches: Tom Maier (Peninsula Basketball Camp), Bruce Myhre (Peninsula Soccer Camp) and Chad Nammack (Peninsula Baseball Camp). These experienced coaches are supported by a team of professional speakers who help to make Peninsula Sports Camps one of the best camps in Southern California. With 45 years of experience and 90,000 athletes, there is no better place to encourage athletes to reach for their highest potential.

Ride to Fly is a non-profit organization that strives to offer therapeutic horseback riding experiences to children and adults with disabilities. Established in 1994, Ride to Fly is a member of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH International), and is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for its riders. The organization believes in the inherent worth and dignity of all people, and wishes to share the special gift of horsemanship with those who have special needs. Ride to Fly has been operating in the South Bay area since 1994. The organization is a PATH International member center that is committed to providing therapeutic horseback riding and the associated learning experiences to children and adults with disabilities in a safe and nurturing environment. Ride to Fly believes that all people, regardless of their abilities, have inherent worth and dignity, and is dedicated to sharing the special gift of horsemanship with those with special needs. Since 1994, Ride to Fly has been providing therapeutic horseback riding opportunities and associated learning experiences to individuals with disabilities in the South Bay area. As a PATH International member operating center, the organization is devoted to creating a safe and nurturing environment for its riders, and believes in the inherent worth and dignity of all people. Ride to Fly wishes to share the special gift of horsemanship with those with special needs and encourages all to experience the joys of horseback riding.

The golf course at Trump National allows the general public to share in the beauty of Rancho Palos Verdes. The property features walking trails that meander through the award winning golf course towards the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The trails provide access to the beach and a public park located on the bluffs in front of the clubhouse. These trails offer the chance to see up close the native flora and fauna that our staff works so diligently to preserve. Trump National has established a strong reputation for its environmental practices. Trump National is dedicated to protecting the environmentally sensitive habitat that is home to protected plant species and the endangered Coastal California Gnatcatcher (a small migratory bird). Several environmental agencies – including the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and the California Department of Fish & Game – were involved with setting up a series of standards and guidelines for the course. Trump National actively abides by these regulations, placing us in the ranks of courses that dynamically combine beauty and environmentally responsible practices.
