They purchased their first horse farm on Highway 138 between Stoughton and Oregon. Marlene had horses growing up and, as a young woman, had shown Quarter Horses exclusively with her father, Arnold Anderson. It was then that Marlene’s love for Saddlebreds began. Dan is a stock and commodities broker and Marlene is a dedicated horse lover. They have three children, and daughter Neva has taken on the family business, training horses and giving riding lessons.
