Childcare Programs
Our Naturalist-led Wetland Adventures programs for Childcare Centers are offered November—March and June—August. Heckrodt Wetland Reserve also provides an environmental lesson with lots of hands-on opportunities! In summer, Park and Rec departments can get in on the action too!

Cub Scouts Heckrodt Wetland Reserve has developed scout programs based on the requirements of BSA Cub Scout Awards of Merit. We strive to give scouts of all levels an opportunity to earn awards in an outdoor field setting. If you have a suggestion for a program idea or topic, please feel free to let us know.
