Brenda D07/20/20225A deer, a garter snake, several birds, turtles, and even a mother turkey with her young all shocked us. We took pleasure in the insects, rock climbing, and breathtaking scenery while observing the marsh ponds through binoculars. Finally, we delighted in the magnificent and distinctive. What an unexpected pleasure!
PJ B06/15/20225Park is very nice. really liked the boardwalk and trails. Wide hiking trails and very simple access. Most are between a half and a mile long, but if you want to hike beyond, you can always do more than one route. Along the trails, there were numerous informational signs and seats. The playgrounds were fantastic! It contained an obstacle course, treehouse, zipline, teepee, and outdoor kitchen and blended perfectly with the natural atmosphere. There were also numerous picnic tables where people might sit. There was also a nature center, but it was closed when we were there because we arrived on a weekend.
Marge K06/21/20225Although we have been here before, the most recent visit was for my daughter's field trip. Due to the fact that they were a very small group, they were able to do a little bit more than typical students. They had a GREAT TIME! Wonderful was Mr. Luke! He was fantastic with children. He planned a wonderful event complete with educational activities and more! He informed us of summer school opportunities in which we would undoubtedly be interested. Playground: My 7- and 3-year-old children like this playground! Slides, tunnels, zip lines, and climbing activities are just a few of the many features.
Kesel B06/29/20225I always have fun here! Excellent for taking a leisurely stroll and appreciating the beauty of nature and its inhabitants.
Anna E07/26/20225to observe bugs with my 2-year-old granddaughter! Eventually, a mother turkey and her young child crossed our path. then a mother with twins, one of whom was walking just five feet away from my granddaughter. We had so much fun that we want to return the following week! The staff is incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and they want you to take advantage of the center's amenities.
