Appelton Memorial Park is a beloved community hub for outdoor fun and recreation. It is the largest and most diverse of Appleton Parks, boasting 143 acres of lush green, playgrounds, trails, and a fishing pond. Families can make use of the seven softball diamonds, the Miracle League Field, and the Appleton Family Ice Center. The park also has a pavilion and amphitheater that can be rented out and the Scheig Center and its surrounding gardens are open to visitors. In the winter months, when there is enough snow, areas of the park are groomed for cross-country skiing and a sled hill is available for all ages. Appelton Memorial Park is the perfect place to gather with family and friends and enjoy the great outdoors.

EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS
Appletots Learning Center focuses on early childhood education programs. We use a play-based approach to learning in all of our educational programs. We offer parent/child and independent classes for children 0 to 5 years old. All classes are held either downtown at City Center or at the Scheig Center in Appleton Memorial Park. Each class has a different emphasis so there is something for everyone. Our experienced teachers are excited to bring these fun, educational experiences to your little ones.

TEEN CORE
Teen Core is an exciting program initiative to provide 7th and 8th Graders the opportunity to continue participating in the sports and activities they love, as well as explore new activities in an inclusive, recreational setting that stresses skill development, teamwork and lifelong participation. Teen Core has been developed by teens, for teens, to be equal parts athletic, developmental and social, with a focus always on the FUN! Teen Core programming features a variety of great activities and events, ranging from structured, recreational level leagues, to drop in style events and “learn to play” opportunities.
