For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.

American Diabetes Association's Enriching Summer Camps The American Diabetes Association (ADA) has been a beacon of support and a source of memorable experiences for children diagnosed with diabetes, through their engaging summer camps and family retreats, since 1949. Every year, we warmly welcome thousands of enthusiastic campers and their families from across the nation, delivering an exclusive mix of thrilling adventures, enlightening education, enriching mentorship, and unlimited fun. The Remarkable Benefits of ADA Summer Camps The ADA ensures that all our summer camps adhere strictly to the highest safety standards, and are managed by a team of professionals trained in the ADA's Standards of Care in Diabetes. These camps are not just about fun and games; they also serve as a platform for skill development. Our programs are designed to equip children with essential diabetes management skills such as understanding nutrition, the importance of exercise, nurturing emotional well-being, and maintaining glucose control. This empowers them with the independence and confidence they need to manage their condition. Creating Social Bonds at ADA Summer Camps Our camps offer more than just diabetes management skills; they provide a nurturing environment where children can connect with others who are experiencing similar challenges. This supportive setting encourages the children to build lasting friendships and develop their social skills, helping them to feel less isolated and more connected with their peers.
