Founded by John and Bonnie Ryerson, Pied Piper/White Pond Community Arts is an award-winning youth program dedicated to nurturing the lives of young people and the local community through active participation in the arts. We are proud to be recognized by both the Dutchess County Executive with the Think Differently in the Arts award and by National Youth Arts. We strive to ignite children's imagination and encourage self-discovery by providing an opportunity to experience a variety of art forms, including dramatic and musical theater, performance art, dance, voice and music, painting, literature and design. At Pied Piper Youth Theater/ White Pond Community Arts, we believe that the arts should be accessible for all, regardless of race, color, national and ethnic origin, disability, gender and gender identity, sexual orientation, or age. We are committed to providing an opportunity for everyone to experience the joy and creativity of the arts, while also adhering to our non-discriminatory policies.

At our paint sessions, we provide an easy step-by-step instruction for even the most novice artist. No matter your skill level, you will be able to create a masterpiece. Our classes are designed specifically for those who think they can’t draw a stick figure. Our knowledgeable staff will provide assistance to anyone who needs it, so you can relax and enjoy the process of painting your own artwork. Our paint parties are BYOB, so you can bring your favorite drinks and snacks to enjoy while creating your masterpiece. School-age children are welcome to attend as long as they come with an adult, and there is no extra charge. Unfortunately, toddlers would not be able to participate due to their short attention span.
