FAME Performing Arts, founded by Jen & Ed Blanton, has become a go-to spot for Theatre Arts in Charleston. The Blanton's mission is to provide guidance to each student to find their confidence, become aware of their strengths, and feel secure in their own skin. To celebrate each child's growth, FAME invites families to attend their live events twice a year. At FAME Performing Arts, the Blantons want to help children reach their potential. They strive to give each student the tools they need to uncover their inner confidence, recognize their unique abilities, and become totally comfortable with themselves. To show the progress each student has made, FAME hosts live performances twice a year for students and their families to attend.

At Palmetto City Ballet (PCB), we’re proud to offer both a professional dance company and an academy to our community. With our pre-professional and recreational tracks, PCB School provides a clear pathway for our young artists to learn, grow, and reach for their dreams. We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to help our students reach their goals right here in their home town. Founded in 1997 by its Director, Ann Osborne Bebergal, the Academy of Dance Arts is committed to providing a positive learning environment for young dancers. Here, students are not required to participate in recitals or competitions. Instead, the Academy focuses on providing sound training to motivate and encourage each student. The Academy of Dance Arts is dedicated to helping young dancers find joy and success in the art of movement and dance. With the help of the professional faculty, students are given the support and guidance they need to work towards their goals without the pressure of competition. At our studio, we’re helping to build the next generation of woodworking enthusiasts by providing youth with the knowledge and skills to create beautiful pieces of furniture. Our curriculum is designed to impart the very passion and enthusiasm we have for woodworking and hand finishing skills, while giving our students an easy to digest format to learn from. This enables our students to gain the confidence and understanding of how and why woodworking works, and apply their knowledge to create a unique and exciting project.

We strongly advise that your child enrolls in our art classes for 1-2 years prior to applying for SOA or Cario to ensure they are well-prepared with their art portfolio, skills and presentation. All of the artwork created by our students is 100% unique and original; we never alter or embellish their work. A large proportion of our students have been accepted into SOA and Cario and we are proud of their achievements. At our art school, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to receive the best education possible. We specialize in preparing kids for the Charleston County School of the Arts (SOA) and Cario. To ensure your child is ready to apply for either of these schools, we recommend they take art classes with us for 1-2 years beforehand. All of the artwork created by our students is authentic and original; we never modify or enhance their work. We are delighted to report that a considerable number of our students have been accepted into SOA and Cario and we are thrilled to have been part of their journey. A high-quality education is essential for a prosperous and rewarding life, and your child’s future is of paramount importance. At Mount Pleasant Family Martial Arts, we offer American Freestyle Karate, which is a unique program that combines the best of different martial arts styles into one comprehensive program.
