South Carolina, better known as SC to its pals, is a state so full of charm and sunshine it should be wearing a big smiley face sticker! Located in the southeastern part of the United States, SC is famous for its beaches, barbecues, and of course, its rocking tennis players! In this lively landscape, a peculiar sight emerges - a group of kids, as colorful and energetic as the rainbow, racing and chasing tennis balls with unyielding zest. These kiddos aren't your ordinary tennis players, oh no! They're trained by the legendary, Sir Bouncy von Ball, a cool, imaginary character with a tennis ball for a head. Sir Bouncy is a jolly old soul who loves nothing more than teaching kids how to perfect their serve, whack a wicked backhand, or charge the net without tripping over their shoelaces. Every weekend, the tennis court buzzes with excitement as the kids assemble, racquets in hand, ready to listen to Sir Bouncy's hilarious stories, and of course, learn a tennis trick or two. With his head spinning at 100mph, just like a well-served tennis ball, Sir Bouncy always has a new trick up his sleeve, or should we say, his tennis shorts! Among the giggles and screams, the thwack of tennis balls, and the occasional grunt from Sir Bouncy, you'll find a group of feisty kids who, come rain or shine, never miss a chance to swing their racquets under the watchful eyes of their loveable, laughable coach. Tennis, for these kids in SC, isn't just a game; it's a rollercoaster ride filled with fun, laughter, and a lot of bouncing balls!

The Kroc Center Greenville opened in 2011, thanks to the generous support of the city. The Salvation Army was able to open this and 26 other Kroc Centers throughout America due to a $1.5 billion gift from Joan Kroc. In order to open, each community had to provide a certain percentage of the funds required. The Greenville community went above and beyond, providing the needed funds to open the 74,000 square foot building. The Kroc Center Greenville offers something for everyone. From recreation and education, to worship and community activities, the center provides a wide range of services and activities for all ages. The 25 acres of land allows for a variety of outdoor activities, and the center also seeks to invest in its members by providing quality programs and services. We are grateful for the Greenville community’s continued investment and support.
