In the sun-kissed land of South Carolina, where the sweet smell of peaches fills the air, a group of courageous kids spent their sunny afternoons playing the beloved game of baseball. This wasn't just any band of baseball enthusiasts, they were the "Palmetto Pinstripes," a team brimming with spirit, spunk, and an insatiable love for the game. Now, each member of the Palmetto Pinstripes was unique, but they all had one thing in common - their best buddy and coach, Chucklez the Clown. Chucklez wasn't your ordinary clown - he dribbled laughter like a sizzling fastball, and his red nose twinkled brighter than the North Star. He was a baseball wizard and had a knuckleball that could make a hummingbird halt in mid-air. With Chucklez at the helm, the kids took to the diamond, their faces glowing under the Carolina sun. Little Billy, known for his energy, would zip around the bases like a whirlwind, leaving a trail of dust and giggles behind. Sally, the team's star pitcher, could curve a ball so sharply it would come back and ask for directions. Timmy, the team's shortstop, had a glove so magical it was said to have been stitched together by baseball elves. Each day, the Palmetto Pinstripes would gather at their favorite baseball field, their laughter echoing past the magnolia trees. They swung their bats, ran the bases, and caught fly balls until the sun painted the sky with shades of orange and pink. Life in South Carolina was always an adventure for these baseball-loving kids, a journey filled with fun, camaraderie, and the occasional pie in the face from Coach Chucklez!

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
